The Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City is pleased to announce a Community Mission to Israel

Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the State of Israel and the 20th Anniversary of Kansas City’s Sister City Partnership with Ramle, Israel

Twenty years ago, more than 80 Kansas Citians participated in a mission celebrating Israel’s golden anniversary.

During that trip, Kansas City, Missouri established a Sister City relationship with Ramle, Israel. At that time, Mayor Emanuel Cleaver signed a covenant with Mayor Yoel Lavi to bond the cities together in partnership.

Since then, our relationship has grown to include many initiatives that have enriched both cities, leading to mutually beneficial networks and connections, person-to-person interactions and the support of social services.
